MARCOOLA SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB
CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF LIFESAVING
Located on beautiful Marcoola Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC) members have been keeping beachgoers safe since 1969.
With more than 19,000 beach visitations each year, our members spend around 6,200 hours between September and May providing lifesaving services at Marcoola Beach including patrolling, administering first aid and performing rescues.
We have 113 active members along with 124 nippers, and we continue to grow. Our Club has a proud history and has built a strong foundation within the community and the lifesaving movement. We’ve even hosted the Queensland State Lifesaving Championships twice, first in 1990 and again in 1998.
Whether you’re a local or a visitor, aged 3 or 103, we welcome everyone to Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club.
